Full-time C/C++ Developer to join a team responsible for systems development in a real-time, low latency payment platform. The Developer will have experience in all phases of software development life-cycle, from requirements gathering, to design, coding, unit testing, debugging and supporting in production. This position requires technical proficiency/problem solving as well as an eager attitude, professionalism and solid communication skills.
Main responsibilities
Independently Design,
implement, deploy, and maintain product-wide application stack and framework
Adhere to best engineering
processes/practices/standards and influence software engineering best practices
within the team
Ensure all development efforts
are fully documented, meet high level design requirements.
Requirements:
B.Tech in Computer Science or
equivalent, with 7 years of professional experience.At least 4 years of
development experience in C/C++ on Linux platform (ideally redhat)
Hands on experience in
multithreading on multicore architecture, UML, Design Patterns and STL
Hands on with SQL and stored
procedures. Awareness of Oracle TimesTen a plus
Hands on with shell scripting
(ideally perl/bash) and Makefiles, process automation
Good understanding of
low-latency server-side socket programming, TCP and UDP
Understanding of Linux admin
commands, GDB, valgrind, network admin commands
Understanding of Rational Rose
RealTime development framework a plus
