Job Description:

• Proven experience in defining L1 Hardware and Software and mapping of Physical layer functionality to the Target Platform
• Experience in Design and Development Physical layer algorithms for wireless communication systems (e.g. 2G, 3G, LTE)
• Experience in Hardware and Software simulations including development of frameworks in C/C++ and MATLAB
• Experience in real-time scheduling for Physical Layer functionality and deployment on multi-core clusters. Experience in profiling and debugging complex functionalities involving multiple cores and hardware accelerators
• Very good understanding of Cellular communication systems (e.g. 2G, 3G, LTE) and underlying signal processing functionalities
• Very good understanding of UE Layer1 Architectures, concepts like Multi RAT, DSDS and different power and performance constraints
• Good understanding of HW and SW architecture, real-time schedulers, embedded processors incl DSP capabilities and optimization concepts
