Job Description:
This job involves
support of ATTD factory Oracle database systems, ETL programs including
installation, tuning, performance monitoring, scalability testing and
troubleshooting. Candidate must be fluent in .Net, ETL & Oracle
(10gR2/11gR2) technologies with knowledge of Oracle RAC, Grid Control, Oracle
Streams, Data Guard, Automatic Storage Management(ASM), Performance tuning and
Oracle RMAN backup / restore. The candidate will be required to provide 24x7
on-call support for our factories worldwide on Oracle & ETL issues.

Qualifications
You must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with eight years of work experience or a Master's degree with six years of work experience.
Additional qualifications include:
Experience in ETL trouble shooting including starting/stopping ETL jobs,
At least six years of demonstrated experience in operations support of complex database technologies in Oracle especially, Oracle DB (9i, 10g and/or 11g), Oracle RAC, Oracle DG and Oracle STREAMS
At least six years of hands-on experience as a DBA supporting multiple, large-sized Oracle database systems using technologies mentioned above
Experience in database administration for complex, large and mission-critical databases that run zero-outage production databases systems
Knowledge of operating system and/or hardware architecture, specifically SAN storage and clustering and demonstrated ability to incorporate this knowledge into technical review of application designs
Knowledge of RDBMS performance tuning using advanced database monitoring, analyses and tuning methodologies
Experience in quantitative analysis of system performance, availability and reliability, as well as in-depth knowledge in root-cause analyses and problem solving
Demonstrated leadership and/or communication skills in providing technical direction, training and mentoring for junior technical resources
Clear written and verbal communication skills to a large user base
Ability to work and excel in a global, multicultural and team-based environment
Recent Oracle* DBA certification is an added advantage
