Job Description :

NES provides cutting edge technology for one of the leading players in the online publishing product space, and is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to play a key role in the Engineering Development teams.

The Sr. Software Engineer acts as a technical resource on projects undertaken by the BIE  Business Intelligence team. The Software Engineer is expected to scope, analyze, develop, and unit test all projects assigned in a timely and predictable manner.
Development of solutions that adhere to technical and quality departmental standards.
Ensure development follows a sound and repeatable process for software development that includes support for the SDLC, code reviews, extensive development testing, and common practices and standards on each project.
Ensure the technical solutions are scalable, maintainable, well documented, and support the long term goals of the business and support the strategy set forth by the EBI Manager.
Work closely with Analysts and management to ensure there is a thorough understanding of the business need that is to be met by each project.
Manage development tasks to ensure timely project deliverables. This includes project scoping and estimations that can be used for scheduling.
Demonstrate and promote a culture of teamwork, humility, precision, and customer-driven excellence.
Serve as a resource to support the live production process, customer issues, and for troubleshooting problems.

Skills Required:

4+ years experience with BI systems. This will include experience with all aspects of database development, tuning/optimization, and implementation of an Enterprise level reporting system.
Microsoft SQL Server - 5+ years with demonstrable design, querying, performance, and tuning skills.
Advanced SQL skills are a must.
Experience with Sql 2008 R2 and later version is a must.
4+ hands-on years with SSIS ETL tools, or a comparable reporting tool, and a willingness to deliver high quality reporting data to the enterprise.
Excellent communication and analysis skills

2+ years working Sql 2012, Table Partitioning, Large Database (> 1TB)
2+ years working with SSIS advance features such as Script Component.
1+ years working with AWS RedShift.
1+ year experience with AWS.
