Job Description:
The employee will be part of the Development Center, supporting
PTC Global Services Talent Management and Portfolio functions. The group is
focused on assessment, development, field-based enablement, and measurement to
manage the professional development and enablement of the PTC GS professionals
aligned with workforce improvement objectives worldwide.
A person in this role will use their expertise on PTC application capabilities and experience in professional development, to assess the needs of internal customers (PTC Global Services, Partners, and others). He/She will then be responsible to prioritize, define and implement holistic, learner-centric and actionable Development Programs in selected areas for one or more GS Communities worldwide; in collaboration with the Business Leadership team. He/she will work with development teams to produce high-quality training material following state-of-the-art instructional design standards with a minimum of supervision. This person must provide thought leadership in the use of PTC products and consulting methodology.
Specific job responsibilities include:
Lead the definition of Development Programs in collaboration with the Business Leads
Establish alliances with Talent Management and Portfolio customers, Training Delivery and other stakeholders to gather input on program definition and design
Identify customer requirements to improve and enhance development programs and enablement initiatives
Follow and improvise operational processes to design, develop, approve, rollout and adopt programs
Plan the development schedule and communicate the release dates for the deliverables.
Develop communication material to promote awareness for development program rollout & adoption
Manage the change process to incorporate approved changes to development programs and training curriculum
As needed, develop and deliver trainings in all formats, in compliance with all standards, methodologies and procedures
Educational and Capability Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering
10+ years experience in Technology Consulting and implementations
Knowledge on any one of the PTC Products (ThingWorx, Axeda, Servigistics, Windchill) is required
Knowledge of project management methodologies such as PMP, Agile, etc. is preferred
Hands-on experience in training and organization development is preferred
Knowledge of instructional design principles is desired
Strong collaboration and team skills to capture customer requirements, understand the customers view point, and execute action items in a timely manner.
Strong investigative and analytical skills with an ability to think clearly and logically.
Strong interpersonal skills to be able to collaborate with various stakeholders across PTC Global Services.
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
Highly motivated, versatile in work, independent team player with mentoring skills.
