Job Description:
Completely own and carry out high speed
SerDes IPs for consumer and telecom applications. These projects can either be
new development from scratch or re-targeting current IPs to new process
technologies.
Work with customer engineering and internal
sales on technical feasibility to determine engineering effort and delivery
schedule.
Support customer in debug / bring-up or work
with third parties for certification.
Support customers facing complex issues at
system level on IPs sold by the company.
Focus on using methodologies to improve
delivery time of a wide array of IPs and solutions around IPs.
Should be able to build highly effective
team.

Desired Profile:
Ideally 11-20 years of experience in carrying
out high speed SerDes IPs for consumer and telecom applications and with at
least 10+ years of management experience in large semiconductor or IP
companies.
Past experience in developing managing needs
of various product groups or customers as head of central engineering or SerDes
IPs delivery team.
Past experience in developing one or few of
these SerDes IPs and managing such teams is highly desirable.
Should have the mentality to think outside
the box and putting together systems and people which can cater new, innovative
ways of providing SerDes IP or related services to the customers.
Should have knowledge of electronic and
semiconductor industry evolvement over last 3-5 decades is needed.
