Job Description:

Need at least 7 years of experience in performance testingGood communication and customer management skillsExperience in preparing performance test plans, devising performance test strategies, managing test data and ability to identify non-functional requirements through business requirements analysis and architecture topology information.Experienced with test estimation, preparing test acceptance criteria and test ReportsExperienced in liaising with Technical Project Managers, Designers, Business users, Developers, Release managers, Team members and various Support Groups to obtain required information for successful performance evaluation.Experience with performance testing software like HP Load Runner, Performance Center Service, Jmeter, Rational Performance Tester etc.Experience in conducting different types of performance tests: Load, Volume, Stress, Failover, Scalability etc along with strong background in and coordination of multiple resources/teams/vendors from different geographical locations.Experience in monitoring infrastructure components in high availability web systems using tools like Wily Introscope, jconsole or through more manual processes such as UNIX monitoring tools, shell scripting etc.Exposure to all stages of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and SQA processes.Experience in performance testing of web applications based on Java J2EE and .NET, client-server, webservices etc.Experience with various platforms Jboss, Websphere, IIS,etc..Good exposure and knowledge in V-model, Waterfall model, RUP, Agile development lifecycleExperience in XML, SOA and Message Queues.Excellent problem solving skills with a strong technical background and good interpersonal skills and strong communicational skills.Tool knowledge of TCP Analyzer tools like Wireshark, Fiddler etc.Allocation of tasks to team membersParticipate in weekly and monthly status callsSupport performance tuning activities
