Job
Description:
Directly responsible for development & management of an emerging Design
& Manufacturing ecosystem in India. Will also be responsible for creating
new ecosystems focusing on emerging technologies and innovations. Core tasks
will require (i) understanding of relevant government policies &
regulations; (ii) defining the market landscape aligning with BU strategies and
Sales & Marketing group goals; mapping the universe, (iii) identifying and
evaluating potential partners from a design & manufacturing perspective;
(iv) manage relations with key internal departments; (v) develop and manage
appropriate programs of large scope, impact and complexity; (vi) Manage
inter-dependencies and integration among multiple projects, teams, and
stakeholders. (vii) Has decision making authority at the program level; (viii)
sets direction for the programs aligned with corporate strategic direction to
meet significant business goals; (ix) excercise judgment and discretion to
develop the right programs, remove obstacles and redefine approaches. (x)
Recommend or sets strategies and deviate as appropriate. (xi) Oversee
identification of tasks and research, dependencies, costs; (xii) assign
resources, and communicates expectations to leadership; (xiii)
Create/track/adjust the program schedule. (xiv)Assess risks and identify
solutions to timely, efficient achievement of program goals; (xv) Ensure that
quality standards and budget constraints are met. (xvi) Ensure appropriate
progress against schedule and take remedial action as appropriate. (xvii)
Prioritize utilization of resources with other functions. (xviii) Influence
business unit or cross-organizational strategies relevant to program goals.
(xix) Should have advanced understanding of the technical concepts,
architecture, systems, development methods, and disciplines associated with the
defined program, and utilizes knowledge to accelerate project completion.
