Our Team
The Core Technologies Tools team is part of the Core Technologies Group within the Data Integration & Quality business unit. The team is responsible for research, developing and delivering of Informatica Developer & PowerCenter Clients. This is the driving force behind tools targeted towards Informatica developers in data integration and data quality domains.
Your Opportunity
The position is suited for a highly motivated and energetic individual with a
desire to design and drive the technical vision for rich UI frameworks
involving different underlying technologies. You could leverage your passion
for creating great user interfaces to drive innovation at Informatica and
create lasting impact across products and teams.
You will work on delivering new features for rich data integration and data virtualization tools. Research and development includes areas such as:
- Designing and developing frameworks to support complex UI use cases for data integration, data virtualization etc
- Rich thick client tools for business users, developers and administrators.

Your Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be based in Bangalore, INDIA and will be responsible for:
Developing easy-to-use user interfaces for Data Integration & Data Virtualization tools.
Working in a small agile team of highly motivated and energetic professionals
Participate actively in designing and developing new features to deliver compelling user experience
Actively contribute in development of components or features
Take the products/features through the full software development life cycle
Qualifications

Qualifications
Your Qualifications:
B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science or related field
1 to 2 years of enterprise software development
experience delivering successful products
Excellent problem solving skills
Strong expertise in Data Structures, Algorithms and
Complexity Analysis
Good understanding of Objected Oriented Design, Design
Patterns
Pretty Strong in C++ with goods hands on experience.
Hands on experience in Rich Client UI frameworks using
MFC would be an added advantage
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
within an organization
Able to work independently with little direct supervision
and take initiative.
Ability to react quickly to changing requirements due to
product limitations or driven by enterprise needs
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to Relational Databases an added advantage
Exposure to Data Integration and Data Quality products
