Amazon.coms 3rd party Marketplace business is looking for a talented Data/Business Intelligence Engineer with a strong background in ETL, Data warehousing and interest in data mining, statistical modeling, linking data to key business trends. Amazon Marketplace provides business solutions that enable millions of sellers around the world to sell on Amazons marketplaces. This Data Engineer will design and develop ETLs that drive creation and improvement of timely, relevant, and actionable recommendations that help these Sellers grow their business on Amazon. They will analyze data trends to understand behavior and key insights into current performance and will recommended targeted improvements. They will have an opportunity to work with big data and emerging technologies like Redshift, EMR and Spark.

A successful candidate will be able to speak the language of business and technical teams, taking business requirements and developing solutions to understand business impact. Basic Qualifications:

Advanced data analysis skills e.g. pivot tables

Ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

5 years of relevant employment experience with a Bachelor's or 3 years of relevant experience with a Masters.
2 years in using OLAP technologies and BI Analytics (Oracle BI Enterprise Edition is preferred).
Excellent written and verbal communication and data presentation skills
