Job Description

Mandatory Skills:
- Web development: Python, PHP, JavaScript
- Data processing: Python, Solr
- Databases: MariaDB, Solr, Memcache
- Security: iptables, VPN, SQLi, XSS

Desired experience:
- Writing web applications using well known frameworks
- Writing/architecting restful HTTP APIs
- Implementing/maintaining big data solutions (preferrably Solr)
- Scaling, optimizing, working with SQL databases (MariaDB 10.x)
- Writing web scrapers/crawlers
- Working with regular expressions
- Securing/hardening web site applications against cyber attacks
- Experience with backend engines, and running API Services
- Experience with customer facing applications
